Digging Deep

More about the monsters you'll be fighting!

Here is the classic Glyphid Grunt. These little dudes will be everywhere. When monster waves spawn, you'll be fighting loads of these ones. They go down with pretty little resistance, so just make sure you've got the bullets for them, and you're good to go!

Next, we have the Spitball Infector. This guy will curl up when not threatened, looking like a rock formation. Then, when a dwarf gets closer, it will unravel and start launching acid spitballs at you. These deal a lot of damage, so taking them out sooner rather than later will help out a lot. He has two main weaknesses: one, he is stuck in the ground, so he can't move, and two, he has many weak points across his body that make it easy to deal critical damage. Aim for those, and you'll be golden.

Last, but certainly not least, is the Glyphid Opressor. This guy is the biggest, baddest Glyphid bug out there. It is heavily armored in the front, taking almost no damage. His only weakspot is his big glowing behind. If you can get around him, you'll finally be able to do some real damage. Although it's vulnerable from the back, that doesn't mean it'll be easy, as these guys have the most health out of any creature in the game. Plus, he'll start pounding the ground, making deadly earthquakes in a radius around him. Stay mobile, and make sure you're packing some firepower!
